- MEDICAL DEVICES: On February 12, 2009 has been published on the website of the Spanish Agency of Medical Devices an information note on measuring devices containing mercury: Application to medical devices of the restrictions on the marketing of certain measurement devices containing mercury. These marketing restrictions that are applicable from April 3, 2009, affect clinical thermometers and esfimomanometers.
- MEDICAL DEVICES: In January 2009 has been published on the website of the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices, a dossier prepared by the Division of General Medical titled: Currently certifying compliance with the laws of medical devices. This documentation explains the different types of documents depending on the type of company and type of medical device, evidencing compliance with the laws of medical devices.
- FOOD: FDA warns of 25 products for weight loss. According to a report published in the journal Correo Farmacéutico, the U.S. regulatory agency FDA has alerted consumers of that country not to buy or eat products included in a list of 25 slimming because they contain undeclared active ingredients that could put in risk their health. - MEDECINES It has been published in the BOE (Official Gazette) of January 1, 2009 Resolution of December 19, 2008, the Presidency of the Higher Sports Council, which approves the list of substances and methods prohibited in sport.

- FOOD: The Decision of the Commission of 15 of December of 2008 has been published in the DOUE of the 15 of December of 2008, regarding the authorization of commercialization of the leaves of Morinda citrifolia like new nourishing ingredient in accordance with the Regulation (EC) nº 258/97 of the European Parliament and the Council. The denomination of the new nourishing ingredient will be of " leaves of noni" or " leaves of Morinda citrifolia".
- DISTRIBUTORS: In December of 2008 Web of the Spanish Agency of Medecines and Medical Devices has been published in the page the Catalogue of Wholesale Warehouses. The pharmaceutical wholesale warehouses approved by the competent authorities of the Autonomous Communities carry out the wholesale distribution of medicines and other products to the pharmacies.
- COSMETICS: The Spanish version of ISO Norms for Cosmetic has already been published, concretely Norm UNE-EN-ISO 22716:2007 on Good Practices of Cosmetic Product Manufacture.
- MEDECINES: The Technical Pharmaceutical Consulting performs the Test of Readability of prospectuses for medecines of human use, according to the European norms.
- MEDECINES: The 5/03/2008, the Spanish Medecine Agency and Medical Devices has published Circulating 2/2008, on Information on the excipientes in the labelling, prospectus and list of credits of medecines of human use.
- MEDICAL DEVICES The 27/02/2008, the Catalan Autonomous Government of Catalonia has published the new form for the Communication of the activity of distribution of Medical Devices and invitro-diagnostic medical devices, applicable to the companies located in Catalonia.
- MEDECINES: The 1/02/2008, the Spanish Medecine Agency and Medical Devices has published Circulating 1/2008, on Foreign Trade of Medicines.
- COSMETICS: In January of 2008, Web of the Spanish Agency of Medecines and Medical Devices has published a new edition of the Instructions and Forms for the Authorization of manufacture activities and/or import of cosmetic products and products of personal hygiene, published in first edition in April of 2007, and that replace when Circulating 2/99 of the Main directorate of Pharmacy and Medical Devices.
